Time for another fresh look feature - yay! As the holiday season approaches, I’m thinking about family….and that’s what drew me to this layout by Heidi2008

Let’s see what the team was inspired to come up with for this one.

First up is Linda - I just love what she did to make the photo look aged, and the details she added just bring a beautifully classic feel to this page.

And finally - my fresh look layout. Heidi had some wonderful journaling on her original page, but I decided to go with a quote that I found about generations.

Yay - another Fresh Look feature I hope everyone has had a good week - I know I’m looking forward to a nice and relaxing evening at home! So to get the weekend started off, let’s take a look at a few CT members’ take on this page by quilter422 (Janice):

A very fun page - let’s see what our CT did to give it a fresh look…

Being a huge American Idol fan, I loved Sam’s take on Janice’s page. The title work is so cool and I love what she did with the photo.

Next up is Maureen (aka Mozer) - she tells me that Anna’s colorblock template really helped make this look like a CD cover - isn’t it so hip and….well….‘rockin’!!

Time for another Fresh Look challenge - I’m having so much fun with these and enjoy seeing what our creative team comes up with.  This week we had a very sweet layout to work with from Mary Rogers

Pretty cute huh?? I love how the fresh looks came out - it’s amazing to me how the same pictures can come together in such different layouts….Check ‘em out!

This first layout is by Jodi - I LOVE the kit she chose and she put it together just perfectly.

Maureen said: “I thought the original layout was very sweet. I know Christine said it didn’t come out as planned so I tried to think of what made her unsatisfied with this layout.  I decided to try to change the layout from monochromatic (which usually evokes peaceful, serene feelings) to have some contrast.  My goal was to try to make a happy, playful feel on the layout with the use of contrasting colors, asymmetry and fun circles
