Friday flickr faves week 25 :)

Okay hands up - I missed a turn in posting the ‘FFF’... I’m so sorry, I have no excuse other than its summer with four kids and I hardly know what day it is.  Thank you Katrina for not lumping me over the head for forgetting…
I’m back now smile Still no idea what the date is but thats beside the point…

Lets start with this one, because it sums up a lot to me. This old barn by Patricia is not just another old barn {as she says} at all! Its part of the joy of our flickr group; sharing the normal in your world, across the world. Believe me if this was a barn anywhere near me I’d have moved in by now, its that gorgeous smile!!! Its also wonderfully colourful, and fabulously caught - as all Patricia’s photos are.

And then lets look at this one, by Mr Designer Digitals himself; Randy. This guy take many glorious photos, and processes them amazingly.  This recent one stands out to me; its a painting, its a secret corner, its a blue blue sky… its lovely!

All of Mollie’s trip photos have been wonderful to look at.  She is absolutely a photographer on a trip - there is a mix of wide views, little details and random things that caught her eye, like these smile

I’m ending this little selection with one of Carol’s photos, from her photo walk.  I saw them on her lovely blog and was glad she posted them here too. She really did sum up the area she was in for me. The greeny grey in this is divine, I think I need to paint a wall with it or something smile

Friday Flickr Favrites! Week #24

Did you know there are almost 17,000 photos in the DD Flickr group? So much inspiration whether you are working on a photo a day for a week, month, or a year! How can I possible pick three or four?

I thought I’d break out of the mold and show off some of the talent you’ll find there! Many of these you might just see on a layout as well! Great photos and a talented group of photographers.

Friday flickr faves -week 23

July is here and picking up speed! I hope you are all finding time to get out side with your cameras. I’m struggling to do so. School summer break has not started yet here in the UK but I am so ready for it… I dont like having to run around in this heat at all. Bring on the long and lazy summer days please!

I’m drawn to all sorts of pictures, for all sorts of reasons, in our flickr group, but this group caught my eye because of the post processing on them. I love good post processing… nothing to shocking, just enough to evoke a mood or time.

Like Jan’s duck smile Very cute waddling shot smile I just love it… anybody else hear the ‘Littlest Hobo’ music as the duck walks away?! LOL

quack! 187/365

And this by mprussell, such ‘old photo’ sunshine! tell me; can I grow that plant over here?! Beautiful!

Day 184 {Crape Myrtle}

Susie has already got fifty six billion comments {or thereabouts wink} for this gorgeous shot, excellent choice to use postprocessing on this -

189/365 Steeple

And finally this black and white posted by acmillian - post processing is not just about the dreamy yellow hues, but creating a fabulous black and white too!

Please take some time to leave comments on our Flickr group, it really makes your day when people do so!
