All About Me Challenge No. 35

Welcome to the All About Me Challenge!

This month’s challenge probably finds you overwhelmed and trying to get everything done in time for the holidays. So, our goal is to stop for a few minutes, take a deep breath and remember what you love most about this time of the year. Is it the Christmas tree? The holiday lights? Religious traditions? Or is it maybe the joy on your child’s face when their favorite holiday movie comes on?

Whatever it is, this is a great time to scrap those little things that give you joy. And maybe what gives you joy isn’t even related to the holidays. That’s okay, too.

Our Creative Team members really hit this challenge out of the park!

Paula’s layout about her son holding her hand is just so wonderful - a true joy of motherhood.

All About Me Challenge No. 34

Welcome to the All About Me Challenge!

This month brings the holiday season closer and our schedules necessarily get busier and busier. Before it all gets out of control, though, I want you to take some time out for yourself. Take a few moments, grab a cup of coffee, close your eyes and reflect on what makes it all worth it. There is always something to be grateful for - even if it’s just that cup of coffee or that moment of silence.

I hope you find the time to scrap your gratitude this month.

My layout is about family and a connection that I lost years ago and have found my way back to in recent years.

All About Me Challenge No. 33

Welcome to the All About Me Challenge!

This month’s challenge was inspired by a sad event - the passing of Steve Jobs. But, his passing caused me to reflect on how much I love technology and how it has enriched my life. And look at how it has impacted our memory keeping - we are scrapbooking on our computers!

So here’s the challenge - scrapbook how technology has changed your life. You might choose to scrapbook a favorite item like your iPad or laptop, or you might choose to relflect more generally on how technology has affected your day-to-day routine.

My layout features photos of my first computer and printer. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since then.

All About Me Challenge No. 32

Welcome to the All About Me Challenge!

This month’s AAM topic is a bit of a personal challenge for me. Recently, I had to work hard to do something that was out of my comfort zone and I want to encourage you to do the same. Or, at the very least, scrap something that you’ve done in the past that pushed you out of your comfort zone - something that was difficult to do, a challenge or a goal you met that was very difficult, or even a conversation you had that pushed you to think about something differently.

My layout is about something that seems so simple to do, but it’s not for me. Including posting this layout, which you’ll see.

All About Me Challenge No. 31

Welcome to the All About Me Challenge!

This month’s topic came to me out of sheer frustration. Frustration because I didn’t have an idea for this blog post. I sighed heavily and whined to my husband, “I love doing these blogs but I can’t think of an idea this time.” And he looked at me and said, “Everyone is frustrated by something. You’ve been a frustrated writer your whole life.” And, with that, he persuaded me to get my frustrations out and get them down on paper. Or on Photoshop, as the case may be.

So, this month’s challenge is to scrap a frustration. Maybe it’s something mundane, such as a computer problem or a messy house. Or perhaps it’s something more deep and profound. Have you always wanted to change careers but never have? Are you a frustrated artist? A dancer? I encourage you to write about it, scrap about it and see if you can get anywhere with the frustration.

My layout is mostly text, as befits a frustrated writer, right?
