First of all, huge thank-yous and hello’s to everyone who joined in the iTunes challenge during our all day chats. YOU were amazing, funny and OH SO talented. We completely flooded the gallery with scrolly pages. Wonderful!

I’m a little late with this iTunes Inspiration, sorry about that. Think you’re going to like this challenge though smile

Here it is;

And this is my page-

The starting point has got a grid, its got sneaky little extractions, it’s a lovely colour scheme, and it’s a got room for a whole lot of writing in there too. What more could you want? wink

Re-create it as it is, or give it your very own clever twist – either way, cant wait to see them appear in the gallery!

Inspiration from iTunes, Challenge 60

I came across this week’s iTune inspiration and literally said ‘wow’ out loud. I like finding CD covers that translate into scrapbooking, but this one, I think this one was made with scrapbooking smile I think they raided our store don’t you ? wink

Here is my version. It has some little snapshots I wanted in my travel book, but weren’t so important a picture that they had to be huge.. perfect for this page smile

I hope this inspires you in some way, shape or form. Please post your pages into our special iTunes Inspiration gallery.

Inspiration from iTunes, Challenge 59

I get very excited by album covers that are just right for scrapbooking.
I mean, theres no shortage of albums made up of big pictures of people looking wistful, with their name in the corner and the album’s name in the other… but happily, on my recent search I came across lots for the up and coming iTunes Challenges smile

This weeks is a fabulous example. Not your average album cover.  Check out that vintage frame, and that linen background. Plus the embossed symbol, and it pretty much looks like Katie had a hand in making it wink

This is my take on the inspiration, I kept altering the coloured background to get the same shade of brown as the original… but finally decided on nothing like brown instead smile

It showcases my teen daughter singing really nicely, it’s a seemingly subtle layout but the photo’s absolutely centre stage!

I hope this inspires you, and that our iTunes Inspirations gallery fills up in no time at all!

iTunes inspiration, No. 58

smile
This weeks iTunes is a very cool one. Everybody is all about the Beatles now being on iTunes and yes, some of their albums have now made it into my master list. Whilst going through Beatle related things I came across this album -

I like the grid layout, but I truly love the vintage aged feel to it too.

For my page I thought I’d take it a little more in the worn and aged direction

What direction will this challenge take you? I look forward, as always, to seeing your pages appear smile Please place them in the iTunes Inspiration gallery.

Remember; there are no rules. Be inspired however you like by the starting point, use a part of it, all of it, the colours, the type…
