3 Kits 3 Ways {Week 58}

For the 3 kits challenge, Mollie and I take turns perusing the Designer Digitals Store to find products we think are so neat they should be featured for our challenge. It’s my turn this week and I’ve chosen three of my favorites and I’ll tell you why. French Summer Kit by Lynn Grieveson is a perfect kit for a variety of layout subjects because it has lovely shades of pink and blue and even sunny yellow and neutral tan papers plus loads of pretty elements. I love In the Breeze Brushes and Stamps by Katie Pertiet for the beautiful nature motifs plus the postmarks. I think it pairs nicely with the soft colors of French Summer. Then, for adding personality to a page, Pattie Knox has a set of Itty Bitty Alphabet Beads with red, blue or black letters and several fun icons, as well. I invite you to see what you come up with using these 3 products and any others you choose to add. Please post your creation in the 3 kits 3 ways gallery and Mollie and I will be along to view your pages, which we just love to do!  grin

Oodles of goodies in French Summer by Lynn Grieveson

The very lovely In the Breeze Brushes and Stamps by Katie Pertiet

and the very fun Itty Bitty Alphabet Beads by Pattie Knox

Here are the layouts 3 of the Creative Members created for the challenge:
Angie (aka Wags) went with the pink papers and elements to match the adorable photo of her daughter, Kate and friend. Notice how Kate’s outfit matches the flowers in the kit paper. Amazing, don’t you think? Angie recolored the letters on the alpha beads to match her pink theme. That’s the brush work peeking out from under the patterned paper.

Angie also used StraightLine Stitched by Anna White No. 01 and Staples Its by Pattie Knox.

Lest you think my choices this week are for pink girly pages only, take a look at the next pages by Kari and Terri. Kari created with the tan paper and her son’s super cute photo. I love how she used the Itty Bitty alpha to tell a cute story of her son learning to spell his name. For now, he’s only interested in that first initial! Kari added her brush work on a layer between the photo and the tan paper.

and, here’s Terri’s page called Taste of Summer. I told you there were sunny yellow papers in Lynn’s kit! I wonder if that ice cream is French vanilla with a little swirl of chocolate? Whatever, it looks yummy. I love how Terri used the brushes to stamp on yellow or blue papers placed in some of the photo frames.

Terri is reminding me that Photo Clusters no. 09 by Katie are very cool.

Great pages, Angie, Kari and Terri! Thanks for the inspiration. Now, DD friends, it is your turn to take the challenge! And, don’t forget that the 3 kits for the challenge are marked down specials for this week.
