Documenting a Decade: 2002

I’ve gotten as far as 2002 myself! It’s a big project but one full of reflection of what a charmed life we have led.

If you need a little help with what happened in 2002, here’s a few highlights of what was going on in the world around us:
Salt Lake City hosted the Winter Olympics
New England won the Super Bowl
The war continued in Iraq
The West Wing and ### in the City were hot shows on TV
U2 and Alicia Keys were hot musical artists of the year
Legally Blonde was in the theaters

For us, 2002 was very exciting. It was the year of our first trip overseas and it was the year I met Randy, my husband. We have become friends with a wonderful family from Holland while they were living in our town and their youngest became very close with Kelly. After 9/11 they decided to move back home early. So we welcomed the invitation to come visit them and ventured overseas that summer. And then a few months after we returned I met Randy and life continued to change from there!

And these templates will be useful for so much more when this book is complete!
