Front and Center: Saturday Scraplift No.173

If you are looking for inspiration for scrapbooking baby photos, you can’t go past the gallery of LoriS, whose delicate and pretty digital scrapbooking layout is this week’s inspiration page:

Baby pictures look perfect scrapped small and sweet, just like this. The tiny elements scattered about are perfect too - and keeping them small ensures they don’t overwhelm the photos. (Remember, you can resize any elements - just ensure you hold the shift key down while you drag out from the corners so the proportions remain the same). I love the delicate brushwork peeking out from behind the photo, and the way the paper and journaling block combine in one strong design element. It keeps the focus clearly on the photo, and makes sure the brushwork doesn’t distract from the photo. But it doesn’t look too bold and stark for this delicate page, because the placement of the stapled down ribbon and scalloped paper strips beneath the photo breaks it up and adds extra pretty detail. Love the scallop down the side too!

Doris, Paula and I found lots of inspiration in this delightful layout:
