Getting To Know You: Missybaby
Hi Everyone! Brittany here with another community member for y’all to get to know a little better. Meet Missy (known in the community as Missybaby). Check out her gallery (Missybaby’s Gallery). Her gallery is full of color and wonderful photos of her family (including mom JALong!). I asked her to tell us a little about herself and here’s what she had to say:
I’ve lived in Idaho my whole life and love it here for the most part. It’s super cold for at least five months of the year and I just hate it, but my family is all here so it makes it worth it I guess. I grew up with four sisters and a brother; I’m really close with my family and love spending time with them. My sisters and Mom are my very best friends; we have so much in common, it’s great. I have a little boy, Jacoby, which I’m sure you’ve seen on most of my layouts. He will turn two in a couple months. Wow! I have a degree in medical assisting, which I really enjoyed, and worked for awhile before I decided to stay at home with Jacoby. I just love everything about staying home and taking care of him. Our little family will be moving to Arizona very soon where my husband will begin medical school. We’ve got a long road ahead of us, but I just keep telling myself that it’ll go by fast.
I also asked her a few questions and below you’ll find her answers:
1.What do you love about digital scrapbooking ?
The thing I love about digi scrapbooking is that it’s not messy at all. I can work on a layout for awhile, save it, and come back; no clean up involved. There are so many fun things you can do with digital scrapbooking that you can’t with paper. It just rocks!
2.If you had to include 3 items from the store on every scrapbook page, what would they be?
Anna’s Stitching, Spot Dots Paper Packs, and Little Bits Alphabet
3.Who in the DD community inspires you?
I would have to say my mom. Her gallery is always so inspiring and she does so many unique, incredibly fun pages; she is so talented. There are so many others that inspire me with their photography and overall design of their pages.
4.What advice would you give a newcomer just starting out to create scrapbook pages digitally?
Keep it simple. I think using templates is a great way to get started. Browse through the DD gallery to get some great ideas.
5.Other than scrapbooking, what are your other interests/hobbies?
I enjoy spending time with family, my girlfriends, doing crafts, decorating, baking treats, couponing, and sewing.
