Just my Type; Font and Alpha challenge, No. 47
Maybe it reminds me of the way I used to end up paper scrapping – run outa vowels anyone?- but I truly love to mix up my alpha and fonts. Anything altered art looking makes me happy!
You get something artistic and creative… and easy. You always have the ingredients needed!
This is my inspirational starting point-
Currently its very ‘in’ to be doing this, (tho heavens, I’ve definitely been doing it when it was probably ‘out’ too;) )And there are numerous ‘spell with photos’ websites about.
You can take both alphas or fonts for your letters, and mix them up. You can always rasterize and add a stroke to your font, to give it that sticker appeal too.
(Cassie has an excellent tutorial for that, ‘sticker art’ )
Or there are several fonts that mix it up for you, such as Laundromat 1967, Monbijoux, and Ransom Note Font, to name a few.
Plus, in store not only are there hundreds of alphas to choose from but we have Lynn’s Ransom alpha and, coming soon, Katies Found Alpha….

I hope we’re inspiring you! Be sure to try it out and post your pages to the JMT gallery!
