» Just My Type No. 19 «

Welcome to another “type” challenge! Hope you join in this week… I know it’s not easy because of all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season! I, myself, am soooooooo not ready for Christmas… I’ve got TONS more gifts to buy! But, I did take time to put together a fun (and quick!) challenge for you this week!

SCRIPT FONTS: I actually stumbled upon one of these fonts in my font folder… I had forgotten I downloaded it! So, I decided to find some fonts that were similar to it and see if I could use them in any way! So, my challenge to you this week is to use at least one of these fonts (or two or three!) in a layout this week!

Dirty English from dafont.com (a very pretty script, but a very grungy version!)
Selfish from dafont.com (just a tad grungy)
Liffey Script SF from fonts101.com (the clean basic one)

I like the feminine touch of the script fonts for my layout, but I really liked the grunginess of Dirty English… perfect for a soccer layout! And, yes… I know, I went against one of my “rules of thumb” to not use a script font for journaling. But, Liffey Script SF just seemd to work better than any “regular” or handwritten fonts, so I broke my own rule! Feel free to do that, too! *grin*

I hope you can find a few (!) minutes or hours to sit down and scrapbook a bit this week… I’ve given you a jumpstart by picking your fonts! Now, go find a photo or two and scrap! Don’t forget to post your layout in the “Just My Type Gallery” at DD!
