Howdy everyone! Welcome to this week’s “Just My Type” challenge! I’m lookin’ forward to seeing what you can do with this week’s fun challenge! We’re gonna mix it up!

CHALLENGE: Combine a brush alphabet with a solid material alphabet of some time… chipboard, paper, vinyl, etc.

I love alphabets with texture and this week, I combined a paper alphabet from Lynn Grieveson (Printed Paper Alpha) with a “messy” brush alphabet from Katie Pertiet (Messed Up Alpha). The combination of color and texture was a perfect complement to my photos of the rugged red rocks Shannon and I visited on our way back home from soccer last weekend. As an aside… if you’re near Los Angeles, Vasquez Rocks is off the Antelope Freeway (14) outside of Santa Clarita and the rock formations are awesome! And, fun to climb! Anyways… the texture of the brushes and Lynn’s paper alpha were just what the layout needed!
