Pretty in pastels

Saturday Scraplift No.119

You must check out Joey M’s gallery - page after page of beautiful layouts. Including this beauty in pastel which is this week’s inspiration page:

I always love a centred design. It’s a great jumping off point for a page design. And I love how, in this case, the flowers in the top patterned paper square are echoed by the flowers under the photo. If you have a strong element or eye catching paper on your page, it’s always a good idea to think of a way to balance it, often in the opposite corner of the page. Don’t you love, too, how eye-catching that lovely Black and White photo is against the soft pastel colors?

Here’s how Angie, Kathie and Fiona were inspired:

I hope you are inspired too. If you are, post your layout in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery for us all to share!
