Scraplifting inspiration from the Designer Digitals Gallery

Saturday Scraplift No. 145

This week’s inspiration comes to us from Sill, who has been working on a gorgeous December Daily album.

There is so much inspiration to be found in her lovely page. For one thing, the design is a wonderful example of providing a logical path for the eye starting at the top left and moving along the photos then down to the number at the bottom of the page.  And I love her mix of photos in the series. Those close ups are fantastic! If you have a “storyboard” type layout, or any layout with a set of photos, it is worth trying to have a variety of shots - some close-ups and some distance shots. I love those rich, Christmassy colors too!

The torn paper is a perfect design element. As you can see from the pages below, there are lots of options for how to achieve it - from Anna’s wonderfully realistic Torn paper edges, to my worn page edges to Katie’s fabulous Roughed Up papers
