Saturday Scraplift No. 113

Sometimes the key to a beautiful page is simplicity, as in this lovely layout by GoingtotheSun:

It’s a great example of a “layout within a layout” kind of design. The card with it’s beautiful image and stylish typography forms a complete “layout” within itself, centred on a perfect neutral background. (Sometimes you might try merging and shrinking your whole layout once it is done, then placing it onto a background). The subtle brushwork behind the card helps to tie it together with the background.

There’s lots of inspiration here, as Merr, Sarah, Debbie and I all found out!
