Three Takes on a Template
I’m always delightfully surprised to see how my fellow Creative Team members use the template I choose for each challenge. When I chose Michelle Martin’s Layered Memories No. 077 for this week’s challenge, I thought it would work well for a year-in-review layout. But wait ‘til you see Anke’s and Lynnie’s pages!
On her page, Anke (anke) gives us a peek into her beautiful home on Christmas Eve. I love how she filled the squares of the template with both pictures and paper and then layered over them a framed focal shot of the festive room. The thin red mat perfectly frames her layout.

Lynn (grandma lynnie) created a wonderfully icy page to highlight a single picture of her lovely home during a recent winter storm. What a brilliant decision to use all of the squares for one photo, and the papers and accents she chose expertly underscore her snowy theme.

I used the template for a photo review of 2010, choosing a picture from each month of the year. Let me tell you, that was not an easy task, and I wasn’t even doing Project 365 this year! I could use this template for a review of each month.

Whether you use this template for one picture, for some pictures and paper, or for twelve pictures, I can’t wait to see what you do with it. I’ll be checking the Template Challenge Gallery to see your pages. Happy New Year!
