Toys! Wonderful Toys! Marvelous Toys!  A Heritage Challenge

Toys! What wonderful memories they can bring back. I remember receiving my Tiny Tears doll like it was yesterday! I’d coveted her for many many months and when she arrived she was all I ever wanted! She and I were friends for many years.

When I asked my children what toy they especially remember, all five of them answered “Atari!”  Do any of you remember Space Invaders or PacMan?

When you or your children think of toys from days gone by, what special ones bring back fond memories? I asked this question of our CT and Anke and Linda both had stunning answers! Thank you ladies, for providing this week’s inspiration.

Anke’s lovely layout features a lively game of marbles, something many of you might not have ever played! I think her photo is awesome and the touches of yellow she added to her otherwise neutral layout are spectacular!

The smile on Linda’s little guy’s face says it all. He was in heaven riding that Big Wheel! Don’t you love the way Linda matched her photo to the background? She says the photo is bad, but I don’t agree!
