Tutorial Technique Challenge No. 2: Playing With Cardboard No. 2
This month’s Tutorial Technique Challenge is designed to help you think outside the box . . . using a cardboard box. There are a lot of great torn cardboard elements and alphas in the store, and the techniques applied in this tutorial will show you how to use them in new and creative ways.
The rules for this challenge are to work through the tutorial to create a new layout that incorporates the technique, using only DesignerDigitals products, and upload it to the Tutorial Technique Challenge gallery by 11 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 4th. A winner will be chosen at random to receive a $5 gift certificate to the store. If you don’t already own the tutorial, watch for it in the Thrifty Thursday sale this week!
This challenge uses the How’d They Do That? No. 16: Playing With Cardboard No. 2 tutorial.
The tutorial focuses on using multiple layers, blending modes, and opacities to combine a photograph and a cardboard element.
