3 Kits 3 Ways: no. 129

Choosing the right kits to use together on a layout is an art in itself. We are probably all creatures of habit, at times, who keep reaching for the same kits when we create. Mollie and I hope the 3 Kits 3 Ways Challenge introduces you to combinations of kits that are new and unique when used together. This week my eyes were opened to new possibilities by the choices made by Janet, Terri and Connie. After the 3 kits were chosen, Janet, Terri and Connie used only those 3 kits to create fabulous layouts as examples for the blog.

First, I asked Janet to choose a full kit by Lynn Grieveson. She chose Wild Weekend Kit

Next, I asked Terri to choose frames by Katie Pertiet to use with Wild Weekend.
She chose Stitched Up Frames No. 04

For the third kit I asked Connie to choose some fun tapes by Andrea Victoria.
She chose Essential Tapes: Just Dots

And, Ta Da! Look at the variety in the example layouts! Would you ever guess they used the same 3 kits and only those kits?

Layout by Janet
Janet is known for her creative use of labels for journaling on her layouts. In Wild Weekend KIt she found the labels she needed! Notice she clipped patterned papers from the kit to the alphas for a unique looking title.

Layout by Terri
Terri used the striking blue sunburst pattern paper for her background paper and the frames are perfect for the individual photos of her sons.

Layout by Connie
Connie created a completely different look using papers from the kit, one fantastic photo and added the waving flags for this a happy summer page!

I think the tapes add a whimsical touch to all three layouts, of course!

OK, your turn! Show us how you would use the 3 kits together. Please post in the 3 Kits 3 Ways Gallery.
