This week’s layout comes from Aly D - who is a master of striking looking graphic layouts.

Isn’t that combo of rich color against the white background so striking? (And you can’t go wrong with Katie’s famous Cabana White paper!) Great brushwork too - and I love that strong titlework! Combining brushwork like this with a strong, graphic design is a great way to add that extra something to a page. All in all, a very cool page!
And it’s a scraplift challenge with a twist this week! Have you tried playing with a layered template yet? With the storewide sale on until early Tuesday morning it’s a great chance to pick one up and give it a go (although be warned, you may find yourself addicted!). I love the way a template provides you with wonderful strong bones of a layout leaving you free to play around with all the fun stuff like color, paper and photo choices!
If you love the look Aly achieved (and especially if you want to make it 12 x12), then you can’t go wrong with this template by Kellie who has lots of fantastic ones in store:

Hope you can join in! It’s always fun seeing how different layouts using the same template look!

Lots of great double page spreads in the Saturday Scraplift gallery this week - plus one clever single page interpretation of Vinnie’s great layout!
