Template Challenge Thursday!

It’s Thursday and not only is it Thrifty Thursday but it’s Terrific Templates Thursday!!

This week we’re spotlighting Ali Edwards Layered Template No. 13!

And our team got together to do some fantastic pages with this one!

Jodi’s page is so fun & playful I just loved the energy from the colors and the fantastic photo! This is one that will be looked back on with joy!

And Britgirl’s choices of papers and elements accentuate the feelings in the photo making it feel like you are there! love that!

The colors Debbie chose totally say ‘city’ to me, but with a warmth, and I love that! The bean is definitely something to be seen in Chicago and she captured it perfectly!

And for my page I chose a picture from the beach that allowed for some more heart felt journaling. That’s one of the things I love about Ali’s pages but I struggle with it at the same time, it’s the journaling. There’s always room for journaling and it’s something that I know I personally need to get better at because when I look back on these pages with kelly’s children some day I want them to know our story whether I’m here to share it with them or not and Ali’s pages give me that little push I sometimes need!

So grab yourself Ali’s Layered template No. 13 while it’s on sale today and share your page with us in the Template Challenge gallery!

Happy Thursday!

And, now, for the layouts using the 3 products created by Creative Team Members: WOW! Talk about inspiration! Angie and Stacy used the warm, brown toned papers to create pages for their sweet sons and Mollie created a lovely in pink page for her granddaughter. All 3 pages are going into my all time favs folder! Thank you, Angie, Stacy and Mollie!

iTunes Inspiration No. 5

I’ve got some great album cover inspiration for you today that’s just perfect for scrapbooking.  It’s Semisonic’s Feeling Strangely Fine which includes the last call favorite Closing Time:

The photo within a photo design really caught my eye but you could easily modify the large background photo to be a favorite paper or reverse it and use a large background photo with three squares of paper or embellishments.

Here is Amber’s take using adorable photos of her daughter finger painting:

The pictures of Mollie’s too cute grandaughter worked perfectly for this composition:

Finally, we have Sam who really captured the energy and spirit of the inspiration with these two layouts:
