Saturday Scraplift (No. 89)
I picked a perfect example of layering for this week’s Saturday Scraplift, a layout by Billie:
Don’t you love those bits of paper and tape tucked in there? Definitely a case of less is more. And the same goes for the use of color. Try a neutral background with just a touch of color. That striped notebook paper on the side is all the more effective this way.
I also love the way the photos descend down the page. There is something about a vertical design that looks fresh and fun. But I’m always saying “try rotating the design onto it’s side” and, when I showed this layout to Amber, Kathie and Tara, they all ended up doing just that! See what you come up, and don’t forget to post in the Saturday Scraplift gallery.
