Just my Type 45
Welcome to 2009! Its already been quite a year in my house, I’m hoping its quieter for the rest of January!
here is this weeks Just My Type challenge
The long way round – place your journaling all around the edge of the page or photo.
Sometimes you let the picture do most of the talking on a page. Not too many fancy embellishments, but the picture and the facts. This challenge is an excellent way of using type as an embellishment in itself.  Its striking, different and, above all, easy!

Daisy is stealing the show, as she always does, and what I wanted to say about the picture is all around the edge.
You might want to help your reader a little and so I used a little arrow to show where my journaling starts and kept the lines spaced apart enough so that the words do not jumble together.  Think about using a easy to read font too; this is batik.
Katies fabulous date stamp frame meant all I had to fit in after my journaling was a simple title, in quik scribble font, and I was done!

It’s a New Year and time for a new Create-a-Book Series!
If you haven’t joined us before, this is a ten week series with a new template set released each weekend that we put together to create a complete album or Shutterfly photobook resulting in our treasure in ten weeks!!

This challenge is going to use a new series of Templates called Hugs & Kisses!

And this time around I’m doing a little girl book with pictures from our recent visit to see Ms. Emi!

I turned the large photo of page no. 1 on the side and added some patterned papers by using the ric rac from the Little Princess Kit as clipping masks! Looking forward to treasuring our visit with Emi in my first photobook of the new year and hope you’ll join in too! Remember to post your pages to the Ten Weeks to Treasure gallery!

I love how she incorporated 3 patterned papers & has such a neat, clean design with those 2 sweet photos of her little guys!
