I love that this challenge is on the fourth birthday of Designer Digitals! It just feels very special that Merrilee and I are posting the 3K3W challenge on the DD blog today. Thanks & Happy Birthday to Katie and Randy for four wonderful years and best wishes to them & Designer Digitals for many, many more happy digital scrapping years in the future!

Our first kit for this week is Katie’s Little Redbird Kit. Myra {mnc0114} said, “I love all of Katie’s “Little” Kits. They make me want to go back and scrap old photos of Jake.” And, I too love all of the “Little” Kits that Katie has made for the store! This is one of my favorites.

The next kit is Jesse’s Clean and Serene No.03 Paper Pack. I love all of the Clean and Serene papers that Jesse has designed . . . they are so aptly named and so very versatile.

The last kit is Ali’s Capture Life MemoryTags. Ali makes it so easy for us to express ourselves with her many fabulous word brushes, word art and elements such as these Tags.

And, now for the layouts from our Creative Team members. This week Fiona {Applechick}, Myra {mnc0114} & Steph {Steph} have created some delightful examples of three ways to use the products for the challenge. I hope that you can add yours to the 3K3W gallery to show many other ways to use the kits too.

Fiona’s layout “Nerd!” is a classic April Fool’s Day page . . . and, I know that Fiona wasn’t thinking of the day that the blog was to be posted either! I love her sense of humor and that of her beautiful daughter, Sara’s sense of play as well! Thanks for the giggle, Fiona!

The extras that Fiona used are Roughed Up Krafty Paper Pack, Roughed Up Shabby Photo Mats, Rounded Corner Clipping Masks Brushes, Tagged Monograms, Little Fabric Flowers from Color Challenge 3-15-09 & Stitched by Anna White No 02.

Myra’s page titled “Smooch” is just so adorable . . . I love that Myra stayed true to the three kits and used no extras. I think that this is a bit hard at times, and Myra did a wonderful job with our challenge products today.  How fun to see Myra and her son from a few years ago on this page!

Now, for the third layout just close your eyes if you are hungry because Steph’s fabulous photograph will make your mouth water! Like Myra, Steph as stayed pretty true to the challenge kits. This is the Day Word Art by Ali Edwards is Steph’s only extra.  Steph’s page makes me smile from just looking at it!
