It’s September and here’s a new 3kits 3ways Challenge.
I asked Cassie, Elena and Sam from the Designer Digitals Creative Team to create pages using 3 kits one might not routinely use together. I think you are going to be as WOWED by the results as I was when I first saw their pages. Their pages are real winners for beautifully unique scrapbook pages! I hope you’ll decide to join in the challenge this week. I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised and pleased with your results if you do!
For starters, I’m giving you a bright summery mix of decidedly graphic papers from Rob and Bobs Summer Safari Paper Pack.

Anytime you want to give a page a special, artistic look you need elements by Anna Aspnes. In the Vibrantz Element Set Anna gives us a collection of very artistic shapes, patterns, colors, and, even an alpha set.

I admire Cassie’s catchy titles. She never disappoints. Her work is always innovative. Her example has clever title art and a photo of her adorable daughter for a delightful page. Note the subtle Lilly of the Valley Floral Cut-Out placement and the way she de-saturated the bright colored pattern from Summer Safari for a classy monochromatic color scheme.

Elena artfully combined the striped paper from Summer Safari with striking green and black papers and the pretty Scallop Spritz from Vibrantz. She also discovered the neat metal elements, stitched circle and buttons from the Vibrantz Kit. I think she’s proving that you’ve just got to have Anna’s kit. Elena’s good ideas for using elements amazes me and her scrapping style is always elegant.

Elena also used designs by Lynn Grieveson (Page Edges No. 02 and 03), Katie Pertiet (Cardstock Paper Pack), Ali Edwards (Week by Week) and Anna Aspnes (Script Tease Brush Set and Stitched by Anna White No. 01).
Sam, ever the talented photographer, is showing off gloriously sunny and happy photos of these good looking expectant parents. In fact, her whole page glows, doesn’t it? An exquisite touch is the way she spot colored a part of the Lilly of the Valley Floral Cut-out down in the corner of the page.
