PageKraft: WriteTrue + Click #8
Today we look at the Click. There is so much to find in a reflection, whether it is a self portrait or a look at something behind what you’ve intended to capture. On a recent trip, it became a game of sorts to capture our reflections in everything we saw. Mirrors, windows, doors, anything that reflected our images. I chose to shoot parts. Not my face. I preferred my feet. The tricky part of the shot is getting the angle just right, with the camera’s lens turned ever so slightly up. If the lens is too wide you will capture your entire body, face and all as you work to get the shot. The exploration is the fun thing. Getting the focus and angle and light to all come together at the same moment.

WIth this shot, I discovered something added to the image. Unknowingly I captured the story as it would soon unfold for us. I kept the photo large to emphasize the detail in the reflection. You can see the credits and journaling in the DD Gallery.
Join me in capturing a reflection. It can be you or a part of you or something else reflected in a surface. Share with us what you discover in that reflection.
Enjoy the journey. We’d love to see your pages in the WriteTrue+Click Gallery.
